the more time i’ve spent not working on things, the more my attention span has suffered. i can’t seem to sit down and actually focus on anything for longer than a few minutes at a time unless i’m hopped up on drugs. it doesn’t really help that we’re living in a society of perpetual distractions (this is probably just a bullshit excuse i’m using because i’m an “american” though).
ok now that i’ve satisfied my need to do something else for a few seconds i’m going to go back to editing photos from over a month ago.
people who tell you they’re going to keep their word can’t always mean it. there are certain sets of circumstances that will always make people break their promises, and go against their words. this applies to you, this applies to me, this applies to everybody. the trick, i guess, is to try not to put yourself in a position where you are obligated to uphold such claims, or even to rely on the claims of others.
i don’t need your word, or your promises. if there is something i wish for, then i will do what is in my power to make it so.
